Job Description

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level HR Assistant. This role focuses on supporting daily human resources operations, maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, coordinating interviews, and providing administrative support to the HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in human resources, people operations, or business administration.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR administrative operations
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
  • Maintain employee records and HR files
  • Process HR forms and employment documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries and direct requests appropriately
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and HR programs
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
  • Update HR systems with employee information
  • Support training and employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in human resources, administration, customer service, or related roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
