HR Onboarding Coordinator
Overview
The HR Onboarding Coordinator leads all workforce mobilization and onboarding activities for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and temporary workers supporting data center construction operations. This role ensures a seamless, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience while maintaining site access and workforce readiness requirements.

The HR Onboarding Coordinator leads all workforce mobilization and onboarding activities for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and temporary workers supporting data center construction operations. This role ensures a seamless, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience while maintaining site access and workforce readiness requirements.
Position Details
- Pay: Hourly, non-exempt, $25-27/hr, based on experience and skill level
- Type: Contract-to-hire or direct hire
- Location: Customer site, Holly Ridge, LA 71269 (fully onsite)
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7: 00am-4: 00pm (Saturdays when needed)
Workforce Mobilization
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for all new hires and contractors
- Coordinate workforce ramp-up activities during project phases
- Track onboarding schedules and hiring forecasts
Pre-Employment Processes
- Oversee background checks, drug screenings, I-9 verification, and employment documentation
- Ensure completion of all required onboarding paperwork
- Verify certifications, licenses, and training credentials
Site Access & Credentialing
- Coordinate site badging and access requirements
- Manage workforce credentialing processes
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and site-specific requirements
Orientation & Training
- Facilitate new hire orientation programs
- Coordinate safety training and compliance certifications
- Partner with EHS and Operations teams to ensure workforce readiness
Compliance & Audit Management
- Maintain onboarding records and compliance documentation
- Prepare onboarding audit reports
- Monitor onboarding KPIs, including completion rates and time-to-productivity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of HR and onboarding experience (high volume) in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Some HR professional experience
- Self-starter with a drive for continual learning and the initiative to take ownership
- Bachelors degree in Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- HR certifications
- Driven, motivated, and eager to learn
