Work Schedule
Monday through Friday. 7.5-hour workday with .5-hour unpaid lunch. Paid for actual time worked; there are no paid vacation or sick days. During NYPA and Canals holidays, the business is closed, and no work is permitted. NYPA requires a hybrid schedule of a minimum of 3 days on-site, up to including fully on-site depending on department requirements.

CWPO Engagement Requirements
Candidates are REQUIRED to be local to Tri-State area and in W2 tax status as employee of Service Provider.
Fully remote positions are prohibited. Hybrid schedules are permissible with a minimum of 3 days on-site depending on assignment and can be fully on-site depending on business needs. Remote work privileges can be revoked at any time.
NYPA does not provide laptops. Instead, NYPA provides desktops and dedicated workstations which candidates will remote into from their personal equipment on virtual days.
If candidate does not have proper equipment, internet connection, or he/she is deemed to not work effectively from home, the hybrid privilege will be revoked.
Vendors must disclose foreign national status and all Visas at the time of candidate submission. Additionally, a Benefits Waiver and Ethics Disclosure will be required by all candidates during onboarding.

Project Overview
We are seeking dynamic and versatile contingent workers to join our HR department for a period up to 9 months. In this role, you will be supporting an I-9 audit and working on digitizing our files. The role will report to the HRBP & DEI teams and also assist with ad hoc administrative tasks. Experience with Content/Records Management Systems, SAP and SuccessFactors and is a plus.

Job Functions & Responsibilities
" Assist with audits and compliance reviews
" Scan various documents and upload to/design appropriate repository
" Support the HRBP team with ad hoc administrative tasks & reporting requests as needed.
" Performs all other duties as assigned.

Skills
" Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
" Strong organizational and time management skills.
" Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
" Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
" Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS) is a plus.
" Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels.
" Work with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
" Clear understanding of Content/ Records Management systems
" Basic understanding of library systems
" Understanding taxonomy/metadata
" Experience with Content Server or other established records management systems.

Education & Certifications
" Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
" 1-3 years of experience in a HR role with experience completing I-9 forms.
