HR Generalist

Location: Summertown Metals Summertown, TN, 38483

Job Description:

The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the human resources function for the organization. This includes but is not limited to:

• Recruiting and hiring new employees
• Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• assisting with employee benefits and compensation programs
• Ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment laws
• Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees
• Managing employee relations and resolving conflicts
• Developing and implementing employee training and development programs
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with 200+ employees preferred 
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent leadership, training and developmental skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to comprehend complex language, theories and methodologies
