HR Generalist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a growing organization in Nashville. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys a blend of recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and HR administration.
About the Role
- Location: Nashville, TN
- Type: Temp to Hire
- Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, and interview scheduling
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Manage pre-employment screenings, background checks, and employment verification requests
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with HR compliance reporting and documentation efforts
- Partner with hiring managers to support workforce planning and recruitment initiatives
- Coordinate participation in job fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition activities
- Support payroll, benefits, and other HR processes as needed
- Assist with general administrative and employee support functions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Required Skills
- Experience supporting recruiting and employee onboarding activities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
