HR Generalist

Location: Worcester, MA (100% On-Site)
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000

CFS is partnering with a mission-driven organization seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its team. This position will play a key role in supporting employees and leadership through benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, audits, and employee inquiries
• 
  
• Manage all leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, and other protected leaves
• 
  
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns
• 
  
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
• 
  
• Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
• 
  
• Support employee relations matters and partner with managers on HR best practices
• 
  
• Assist with compliance, reporting, and policy administration
• 
  
• Participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives
• 
  
• Provide general HR support across multiple functions as needed
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience
• 
  
• Strong background in benefits administration and leave of absence management
• 
  
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and employment law compliance
• 
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 
  
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• 
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 
  
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
•
