HR Recruiter & Generalist

Pay Rate: $30–$42/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Simi Valley, CA | Onsite

Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationwide staffing company, is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter & Generalist to support a leading aerospace organization in Simi Valley, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys recruiting top talent while supporting day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and coordinate offers for engineering, manufacturing, technical, and corporate positions.
• Onboarding: Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• HR Support: Assist with employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR policies.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate employee records and support compliance with employment laws and applicable industry regulations.
• Employee Engagement: Support training, employee engagement initiatives, and professional development programs.
• Reporting & Metrics: Track recruiting and HR metrics to help improve processes and workforce effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of combined HR and recruiting experience.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Previous experience recruiting engineering or technical professionals preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
