    Position Summary

    The HR Recruiter is responsible for driving talent acquisition for the Human Resources function. This role will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and talented candidates.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
    • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
    • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
    • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
    • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
    • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
    • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
    • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
    • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Time-to-Fill: Average number of days from job requisition approval to accepted offer, with a target of 30 days or fewer per open role.
    • Offer Acceptance Rate: Percentage of extended offers accepted by candidates, with a target of 85% or higher.
    • Quality of Hire: 90-day retention rate of new hires, measured in partnership with department managers, with a target of 90% or higher.
    • Candidate Pipeline Activity: Minimum of 10 qualified candidates screened per open requisition to ensure a diverse and competitive applicant pool.
    • Hiring Manager Satisfaction: Quarterly satisfaction score of 4.0 or higher (out of 5.0) from hiring managers on recruiter responsiveness, candidate quality, and overall process experience.

    Required Skills & Abilities

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation tactics and presentation skills.
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment across a variety of roles.
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and meet deadlines.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
    • At least three years of experience managing all phases of recruitment and hiring.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
    • Proficient with applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    Preferred
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
    • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
    • Paycor Payroll experience preferred.
