The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of salaried professional positions supporting the (Client) Auburn Hills campus. This position manages requisitions from intake through offer handoff, partners with hiring managers on role definition and market expectations and delivers against established time-to-fill and candidate experience standards. The recruiter retains accountability for recruitment strategy, execution, stakeholder management, candidate quality, and timely delivery across the salaried recruitment portfolio. Candidates must be capable of managing concurrent professional searches, including corporate and engineering roles.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Salaried Recruitment (65%)
- Conducts requisition intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profile, selection criteria and timeline.
- Develops and executes sourcing strategy, including job posting, direct sourcing, referrals and applicant tracking system pipeline management.
- Screens applicants, conducts initial interviews and presents qualified candidate slates to hiring managers.
- Coordinates the interview process through to offer stage and transitions the candidate to the HR Business Partner for offer preparation.
- Maintains time-to-fill performance against established service levels.
- Serves as the primary recruiting point of contact for hiring managers across the Auburn Hills campus.
- Provides labor market insight and realistic timeline expectations.
- Communicates requisition status, pipeline health and risks to fill on an agreed cadence.
- Coordinates interview scheduling using self-scheduling tools where available.
- Maintains timely, professional candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensures applicant tracking system records are accurate and complete.
- Reports pipeline activity, time-to-fill and source-of-hire data on an established cadence. • Assesses current recruitment processes, identifies gaps, inefficiencies and risks, and recommends practical improvements aligned with established recruiting best practices.
- Shares proven recruiting practices, tools and market insights with HR Shared Services and hiring managers, and helps translate recommendations into standardized workflows, templates and service expectations.
- Partners with HR Shared Services to prioritize improvement opportunities, pilot agreed changes and monitor whether implemented solutions improve speed, quality, compliance and stakeholder experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of full-cycle corporate recruitment experience, including salaried professional positions (specifically Corporate & Engineering roles)
- Experience working to defined service levels and reporting recruitment metrics.
- Demonstrated experience assessing recruiting processes, identifying root causes and implementing scalable best-practice improvements.
- Applicant tracking system proficiency.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
- Recruitment experience within a manufacturing, automotive or engineering environment.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting and candidate self-scheduling tools
- Ability to manage concurrent salaried professional requisitions across differing functions and levels without loss of service quality.
- Strong consultative skills with hiring managers, including the ability to manage expectations on timing and market conditions.
- Working knowledge of employment law and compliant selection practice.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
