Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing organization in the manufacturing space, to identify an HR Specialist who can support both talent acquisition and employee development efforts. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and play a key part in building a strong, high-performing workforce.
Job Description:
The HR Specialist will take on a blended role supporting full-cycle recruiting and learning & development initiatives. This individual will collaborate with hiring managers, contribute to training strategies, and help drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and can balance multiple HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer stage
- Partner with hiring leaders to define needs and execute hiring strategies
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines across technical and operational roles
- Coordinate and enhance onboarding experiences for new hires
- Design and deliver training materials and development programs
- Identify skill gaps and support implementation of learning initiatives
- Monitor recruiting and training metrics to improve outcomes
- Support employee engagement, retention, and performance initiatives
- Contribute to broader HR projects that strengthen culture and operations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure to recruiting and training/development
- Prior experience supporting hiring in manufacturing or similar environments preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence hiring managers
- Experience creating and facilitating training content
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
