LSSI is hiring a full-time HR Training Talent Development Specialist, Monday through Friday. Responsible for course facilitation and coordinating all aspects of the Learning Management System (LMS), including content management, uploads and reporting. Also responsible for supporting the design and development of interactive multimedia instruction as well as collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Responsible for incorporating and leveraging adult learning theories as well as evaluating program effectiveness.

Essential Functions:
- Execute all facets of the Learning Management System (LMS), including content management, uploading, and comprehensive reporting.
- Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) and all assigned development courses.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on employee course metrics while maintaining ongoing and accurate data.
- Review course content and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of workforce, the organization-workforce.
- Leverage ADDIE to create sound instructional design while incorporating prevailing learning theories and performance processes.
- Provide technical support for virtual instructor-led course sessions.
- Design and develop instructor-led and interactive multimedia instructional content and materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content and materials.
- Evaluate course and program effectiveness utilizing Kirkpatrick's levels.
- Evaluate and recommend vendor course options for compliance and risk management related content.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, talent development, organization development, or related field required.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in instructional design, using design authoring tools, LMS administration, and course facilitation required.
- Highly skilled in developing content and programs grounded in adult learning, experiential learning, and social learning theories.
- Proficient in utilizing instructional design and authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Genially).
- Skilled in the application of ADDIE methodology.
- Experienced in the use of methods and techniques for defining learning and behavioral outcomes.
- Proficient in assessing quality and relevance of instructional content in relation to desired learning or behavioral outcome.
- Applied knowledge of instructional methods and techniques for self-directed and action learning.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Background check clearance required.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage required.
