Duties

Tri-Valley High School is looking for a high energy, hard working, and student centered mathematics teacher. Successful candidates should have knowledge and understanding of best practices in mathematics for high school grade levels. Candidates who are interested in coaching, activity sponsorships, or other school community roles are preferred. Coaching and sponsorships are available throughout the school district.

Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree with appropriate 9-12 mathematics endorsement, capability to acquire provisional endorsements. Endorsements in additional content areas are of value as well.

Salary/Benefits

Competitive salary and benefits based on education and experience per negotiated contract. This position qualifies for full benefits. Current teacher contract can be found at TVEA Contract 2025-2028.

Tri-Valley''s campus is located in Downs, IL (only 8 minutes from Bloomington/Normal). Each building in the Tri-Valley district has been honored with the National Blue Ribbon Schools award. In addition, the district has earned academic achievement awards through ISBE as well as being named in national publications as high performing schools. Tri-Valley has an expectation of success and innovation both in and outside the classroom for all students and programs. The high school completed a full renovation and expansion project in 2021 with all new classrooms, furniture, and technology.
