Human Performance Optimization (HPO) Specialist

Schedule:HPO personnel will provide on-site services Monday through Friday, generally between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, excluding Federal holidays. Individual schedules will not normally exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Summary:HPO personnel will provide strength and conditioning, athletic training, injury-prevention, rehabilitation, and administrative support at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, in support of Air Force personnel and mission readiness.

Requirements:• Strength and Conditioning Coaches must have a relevant Master’s degree, current CSCS certification, CPR/BLS/AED certification, and required experience.• Athletic Trainers must have a relevant Master’s degree, BOC certification, professional licensure, specialized treatment certification, and required experience.• The Administrative Assistant must have a high school diploma, recent administrative support experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.• All personnel must meet applicable background, credentialing, and installation-access requirements.

Duties:• Develop and conduct strength, conditioning, mobility, and injury-prevention programs.• Evaluate, treat, rehabilitate, and document musculoskeletal injuries.• Conduct physical assessments and monitor individual performance and recovery.• Coordinate with medical staff, HPO personnel, and Air Force leadership as required.• Maintain required schedules, reports, records, and administrative documentation.
