You will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, providing support to employees and managers, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.FunctionsAssist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.Support employee orientation and training activities, ensuring new hires are equipped with necessary information and resources.Assist in the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as employee benefits and employee recognition programs.Assist in support for employee inquiries and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing guidance and assistance as needed.Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.Assist in conducting employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Prepare and distribute HR‑related communications.Assist on special projects as needed, including support of ongoing continuous improvement framework, data audits, and participation in safety and operations audits and initiatives.Proactively implement positive employee engagement strategies and initiatives to drive improvement in morale and retention.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration1-5 years of experience in Human ResourcesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationBasic understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulationsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS softwareAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environmentMust be bilingual in Spanish and EnglishPreferred SkillsKnowledge of employment laws and regulationsExperience with HRIS implementation or administrationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMBA or Masters of Human ResourcesBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
