Summary The Human Resources Business Partner, Retail is the designated HR lead for the Central US retail population, responsible for implementing people strategies that support retail goals and drive a high-performance culture. This field-based role partners with store leadership to address employee relations, talent development, recruitment, and HR operations, and requires frequent travel to stores across the region. The HRBP serves as the primary point-of-contact for HR matters and works with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent policies and programs.Responsibilities Act as HR business partner to retail leadership, planning and implementing People & Culture policies and programs for the regionManage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, approve disciplinary actions, and recommend action plans with senior management and legalLead and manage the annual review/performance management process and support promotions, career pathing, and succession planningSource, interview and assess retail talent, support onboarding/offboarding, and pipeline staffing for new stores and key rolesCollaborate with Compensation, Benefits, Finance, Retail Operations and Learning & Development on pay, headcount planning, HRIS, and development programsRequirements Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably managing a population independentlyKnowledge of employee relations, talent development, performance management, recruitment, compensation and employment lawExperience with HR systems such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and digital learning platformsExcellent communication and presentation skills and ability to coach managers on HR best practicesWillingness and ability to travel frequently to retail locations, often with limited advance notice#J-18808-Ljbffr
