About Accumet Accumet is an industry-leading precision manufacturer specializing in advanced materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly for the aerospace, medical, defense, and electronics industries. We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to support and help shape our HR processes.

About the RoleReporting directly to the CEO and General Manager, you'll be our dedicated HR resource. You'll handle onboarding, benefits, payroll, records, recruiting support, and compliance. It's a hands-on role with real ownership and visibility across the company.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new hires, including preparing files and coordinating training
• Complete, verify, and maintain Forms I-9 and supporting documentation; manage E-Verify
• Maintain paper and electronic HR records
• Process payroll and submit required documents to payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate records and deductions; reconcile benefits statements
• Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
• Support annual open enrollment, performance reviews, and other HR initiatives
• Support recruiting: post jobs, schedule interviews, and attend virtual and in-person job fairs several times a year
• Prepare documentation for terminations
• Deploy and analyze training evaluations and company surveys
• Lead company trainings on HR initiatives and share HR updates in meetings
• Handle general administrative work, including filing, scanning, and preparing correspondence
• Take on special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role
• Experience with an HRIS and ATS (we use Checkwriters)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of integrity
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

• Location: Devens, MA (on-site)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. ET
• Pay: $55,000 -$70,000/year

Work EnvironmentThis is primarily an office-based role. You may occasionally walk through our manufacturing floor, where noise levels can be high and safety equipment may be required.
