GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Administrative support for the Human Resources Department which includes maintaining personnel files, I-9 authorizations, benefit enrollment follow-up and new hire onboarding. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons
- Verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files.
- Send new hire request forms to IT
- Assists with the preparation and distribution of new policies, performance views and other company initiatives
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of HR.
- Makes photocopies; mail correspondence, scan and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
- Prepares new-employee files. Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assist with department invoices
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & TRAINING - Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Communication, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources or Administrative role
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Managing multiple projects
- Create forms to streamline workflows and procedures

Starting Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
