About the Role

As the person leading the Human Resource function, you will serve as a trusted partner to both management and staff across the dairy and plant facilities. You will help build an environment where employees feel valued and set up to succeed. The role blends hands-on administration with strategic planning, giving you room to make a genuine difference in a vital part of South Dakota's farming community. You will be the go-to resource for everything connected to the employee experience, from the first day of hire through long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to attract dependable talent for farm, production, and administrative positions.
• Develop and maintain Human Resource policies and procedures that keep Red Rock Dairy compliant with applicable employment laws.
• Manage employee relations, serving as a fair and approachable point of contact for questions and concerns.
• Administer payroll coordination, recordkeeping, and benefits enrollment in partnership with leadership.
• Lead training and development initiatives that help team members grow their skills safely and confidently.
• Support workplace safety programs appropriate to an agricultural and dairy environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records within the Human Resource information systems.
• Advise supervisors on performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Promote communication across departments so employees stay informed and engaged.

• Working knowledge of employment regulations and best practices in the Human Resource field.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail when handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency with HR software, spreadsheets, and standard office tools.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to treating every team member with respect.
• Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
