The Human Resources Manager supports the management of the HR department by guiding leaders on employment laws, compliance, and best practices. This role ensures effective HR operations, drives associate engagement, and supports organizational goals through recruiting, payroll, benefits, and associate relations. HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE - Oversee daily office operations and general HR administration.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, job offers, background checks, hiring, and onboarding.
- Maintain and organize associate files, I-9 records, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, payroll documents, and other personnel records.
- Coordinate investigations, terminations, and unemployment claims with leadership, including attending hearings as needed.
- Serve as liaison to leaders and associates, promoting open communication and conflict resolution.
- Apply employment law knowledge (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, COBRA, etc.) to ensure compliance, with guidance from the Regional Director of Human Resources.
- Conduct new hire orientation in alignment with company and brand standards in both English and Spanish.
- Report and manage workers’ compensation claims; coordinate modified duty with leaders and maintain communication with insurance providers.
- Support benefits administration, including associate enrollment, billing, audits, and communication of benefit options.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate input of employment data, hours worked, rates of pay, deductions, and withholdings.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS - Experience: Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience.
- Knowledge: FLSA, Title VII, payroll, and employee relations.
- Languages: Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English and Spanish.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP certification preferred.
