Above All Talent Solutions is recruiting a Human Resources & Recruiting Manager (HR & Recruiting Manager) on behalf of a growing health and human services organization serving older adults and individuals with disabilities or special needs.

This organization provides personal care, respite care, live-in support, and day services that help individuals receive the assistance they need. This onsite leadership opportunity is ideal for an organized, people-focused human resources professional who enjoys recruiting, supporting employees, and coordinating staffing needs in a mission-driven environment.

Position Overview

The Human Resources & Recruiting Manager will oversee full-cycle recruitment, employee onboarding, training coordination, and staff scheduling. This role also supports employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and policy administration.

Working closely with employees and organizational leadership, you will help build and maintain a dependable, engaged workforce while ensuring adequate staffing coverage for client services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, applicant screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and training to support new-hire readiness and ongoing staff development.
• Oversee employee scheduling and staffing coverage to meet client service needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and support compliance with Connecticut and federal employment laws.
• Address employee questions and support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating human resources policies and procedures.
• Serve as a primary resource for questions about HR policies, employee benefits, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to align recruiting, staffing, and employee support with organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in human resources, recruiting, staff scheduling, or a combination of these functions.
• Knowledge of Connecticut employment laws and human resources best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and effective interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, human services, senior services, or a related care setting.
• Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
