HR Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000
Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-driven HR Specialist to join a premier senior living community, renowned for its commitment to luxury, compassion, and excellence in care. As part of a respected, privately owned organization, this onsite role is essential in streamlining HR operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and cultivating a supportive and engaging employee experience for this location.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing offer letters
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation, including I-9 processing, training coordination, and benefits communication
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and act as a liaison between staff and HR leadership
- Track open positions and provide timely updates to leadership
- Contribute to HR initiatives and help enhance internal processes and policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on HR experience, with demonstrated success in managing employee relations, training, and onboarding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS and ATS platforms is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
