Venice Cooling, Heating & Plumbing is looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Outbound Calling Customer Service Representative / Permitting Specialist to join our team!
We're a well-established, locally operated HVAC and plumbing company serving Venice and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. We're growing and looking for someone who enjoys talking to customers, generating opportunities, and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
Outbound Calling & Customer Service:
- Make outbound calls to existing customers to schedule HVAC maintenance visits, tune-ups, and service appointments.
- Follow up on unsold estimates and help convert opportunities into booked jobs.
- Promote maintenance memberships and seasonal specials.
- Build relationships with customers while delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate customer records and scheduling information.
- Help keep our technicians' schedules full and productive.
Permitting & Administrative Support
- Prepare, submit, and track HVAC and plumbing permit applications with local municipalities.
- Coordinate inspections and follow up on permit approvals.
- Communicate with inspectors, homeowners, and installation teams.
- Maintain organized permitting records and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with other office and administrative responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, confident phone presence.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound customer calls.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to multitask.
- Comfortable working with computers and customer management software.
- Previous HVAC, plumbing, dispatching, or permitting experience is a plus.
- Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
