HVAC Install Field Supervisor

Thompson & Thompson Service Group is seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Install Field Supervisor to join our growing team in Savannah. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing HVAC installation crews, ensuring exceptional installation quality, maintaining safety standards, supporting technician development, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The HVAC Install Field Supervisor works closely with the HVAC Operations and Service leadership teams to provide field support, conduct job site inspections, address installation challenges, and ensure all work is completed according to company standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications. This position plays a critical role in quality control, technician coaching, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support HVAC installation technicians and helpers in the field.
• Conduct routine job site visits to ensure installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable code requirements.
• Perform installation quality control inspections and identify opportunities for improvement in workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and assist with resolving installation, startup, and system performance issues.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and technical support to installation team members.
• Monitor installation performance metrics, callbacks, and warranty concerns, implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Partner with dispatch, warehouse, service, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and coordinating installation schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Follow up on customer concerns, escalations, and post-installation issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures through job site inspections, training, and daily field engagement.
• Mentor technicians and help develop future leaders within the organization.
• Ensure all installations reflect Thompson & Thompson Service Group's commitment to quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention of HVAC installation team members.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Previous leadership, lead installer, or field supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, startup procedures, system troubleshooting, and quality control standards.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop technicians.
• Working knowledge of local codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds when necessary.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Compensation

$80,000 - $110,000 Annually
