HVAC Installation Tech

Location: Memphis, TN

Pay Range: $25–$32 per hour, based on experience Work Schedule: 40+ hours weekly, Monday through Friday

Mechanical Systems Company is hiring a skilled HVAC Installation Tech to support commercial HVAC projects throughout the Memphis area. This role is ideal for an experienced installer who is confident working with refrigerant piping, brazing, controls, drains, equipment start-up, and field troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on brazing experience
• Strong knowledge of copper refrigerant piping installation
• Experience installing RTU accessories is strongly preferred
• Ability to diagnose and resolve installation-related problems
• Experience reading blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel to project locations as required
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs
• EPA certification preferred
• HVAC trade school or technical training preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and installing copper refrigerant piping
• Brazing refrigerant lines, fittings, and system connections
• Installing and connecting HVAC control components
• Running condensate piping and equipment drains
• Supporting equipment start-up and commissioning activities
• Identifying and correcting installation or system issues in the field
• Reading plans, blueprints, and project specifications to complete work correctly
• Helping maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, and jobsite organization
