About the Role:

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Westchester, NY is looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their growing team in Thornwood, NY. Responsibilities:

• Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to ensure proper system installation
• Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of newly installed HVAC equipment
• Collaborate with service technicians and project managers to meet installation deadlines
• Ensure all installations meet local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate professionally with customers, explaining system operation and maintenance best practices
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and company vehicle

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience required
• EPA 608 Certification required
• Solid knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and components
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
