Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a solid understanding of HVAC components, ductwork, and system layout, along with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship under deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, vents, furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and installation manuals to determine system layout and installation procedures.
- Ensure installations are completed in compliance with local codes, company standards, and manufacturer requirements.
- Test systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate installation schedules.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site throughout the installation process.
- Provide basic customer education on system operation after installation.
- Load and unload materials and equipment for each job site as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC system installation in residential or commercial environments.
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, tools, and best installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
- Capable of working in confined spaces, rooftops, and various weather conditions.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- EPA certification is a plus.
