HVAC Project Manager

A reputable mechanical contractor is seeking a hands-on HVAC Project Manager to oversee a high volume of commercial projects This role is ideal for someone with a superintendent's eye for field coordination who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring HVAC installations stay on track and on budget.

HVAC Project Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee HVAC installation on multiple small to mid-sized commercial projects ($100K-$1M)
- Act as the on-site leader ensuring coordination with general contractors and field crews
- Monitor schedules, resolve site issues, and maintain progress across numerous projects
- Work directly with about 10 long-term GC partners to maintain strong working relationships
- Coordinate project milestones, deliveries, and subcontractors to keep work on track
- Review construction drawings and communicate scope and expectations to field teams
- Provide progress updates to internal leadership and ensure projects meet quality and safety standards
- Support project closeout including punch list completion and documentation handoff




HVAC Project Manager Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of HVAC construction project management experience, with field-based project leadership
- Experience managing commercial projects with $100k+ contract values
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and installation methods
- Comfortable working on multiple fast-paced, small-to-mid-size projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of with NC mechanical / building codes
