This role combines operational oversight with sales and business development accountability, ensuring that service delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial performance are consistently achieved. The Area Account Manager serves as the primary leader for regional staff, customers, and accounts, and is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining alignment with Company standards, policies, and strategic objectives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMarket Leadership & Operational OversightDirect and oversee daily operations within the assigned service area to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency of service deliveryCoordinate with Service Managers and field teams to manage scheduling, workforce utilization, and customer commitmentsEnsure compliance with Company policies, safety standards, and operational proceduresMonitor service performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions as neededMaintain accountability for overall regional performance, including service execution and customer outcomesSales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute regional sales and growth strategies in alignment with Company objectivesDrive expansion of maintenance agreements, service contracts, and project work within existing and new accountsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share within the Central Florida regionMaintain ownership of regional sales goals and contribute to overall Company revenue targetsReview and approve proposals to ensure scope alignment, pricing accuracy, and adherence to margin expectationsCustomer Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for key customers and accounts within the regionEstablish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and partnersConduct regular customer meetings and site visits to ensure satisfaction and identify additional service opportunitiesAddress and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional mannerEnsure consistent communication and a high standard of service deliveryTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, manage, and develop regional staff, including field personnelEstablish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedbackConduct regular team meetings to review performance, priorities, and operational updatesSupport recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levelsPromote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvementFinancial Performance & AccountabilityManage regional financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, and cost controlMonitor job profitability and ensure alignment with established financial targetsMaintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and performance trackingPartner with Accounting and Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processesTake corrective action as needed to address variances and improve financial outcomesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Operations, Dispatch, and Project Teams to ensure seamless execution of workCoordinate with leadership to align regional activities with Company initiatives and strategic prioritiesProvide feedback on market conditions, service offerings, and operational improvementsParticipate in leadership meetings and contribute to overall business planningQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC service, construction, or related industryDemonstrated experience in both operations management and sales or account managementStrong understanding of HVAC systems, service agreements, and project workProven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and drive performanceStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin managementExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with COINS, preferredAbility to travel within the assigned region as neededWork Environment & ExpectationsThis position operates in both office and field environmentsRegular site visits and customer interactions are requiredAvailability to support business needs outside of standard working hours as necessary#J-18808-Ljbffr
