Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Conduct thorough system evaluations and identify opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, and reliability.
• Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options to homeowners in a professional and consultative manner.
• Educate customers on equipment performance, energy efficiency, indoor air quality solutions, and system lifespan.
• Build customer trust through honest recommendations and exceptional service.
• Generate sales opportunities through service calls and system evaluations.
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Accurately document service findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
• Adhere to all safety policies, industry standards, and company procedures.
• Participate in company meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina required to safely perform HVAC service tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree, certification, or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Previous residential HVAC service experience required.
• Proven ability to communicate repair and replacement options effectively to homeowners.
• Strong sales aptitude with a customer-first approach.
• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate HVAC tools, testing equipment, and service instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
