HVAC Service Dispatcher

West Mechanical has proudly served the greater Bellingham area for more than 40 years. We are a long-standing local company focused on providing dependable HVAC and mechanical services to the homes and businesses in our community.

We are looking for an experienced Service Dispatcher to join our service team. This person will play an important role in coordinating our technicians, keeping the daily schedule organized, and making sure customers receive clear and timely communication throughout the service process.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and able to stay calm when schedules change. You'll work closely with customers, technicians, and the office team to keep service calls moving efficiently from scheduling through completion.

Pay: $23.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM (1 hour lunch)

What You'll Do

• Schedule service calls, return visits, and follow-up appointments
• Coordinate and manage the technician on-call rotation
• Communicate appointment times, lead times, and service expectations to customers
• Keep customer and service records accurate and up to date
• Prepare service invoices and technician timecards for processing
• Coordinate with technicians and the office team to keep the daily schedule running efficiently
• Adjust schedules and priorities as needed when service needs change

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in dispatching, customer service, project coordination, or a similar role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with the local service area or strong map-reading/navigation skills
• Computer proficiency
• High school diploma or GED
