Picture this
You arrive at a brownstone with uneven temperatures. You inspect a split system, trace control signals, and reference the wiring diagram. Later, you’re on a light commercial site fine-tuning a water source heat pump. You keep clients informed, work neatly, and document everything—then take your on-call rotation shift to ensure critical systems stay online.
What you’ll tackle
Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across:
Chillers, boilers, water source heat pumps, cooling towers
Package rooftops, split systems, controls, pumps, and VAVs
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams/schematic drawings
Delivering excellent customer service with clear communication
Driving results through methodical problem-solving and tight organization
Carrying and climbing ladders up to 40 feet
Supporting an after-hours on-call rotation
What makes you a great fit
5+ years of commercial HVAC Service Technician experience
High School diploma or GED; technical school education preferred
EPA certification required
Valid driver’s license
OSHA certification a plus (not required)
Physically ready for the work: lift 75 lbs+, climb, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, work at heights and in confined spaces
