JOB DESCRIPTION:

Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair with all aspects of residential HVAC including Steam and Hot Water Boilers, Central Heating and A/C units as well as ductless split systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with dispatchers, other technicians, and managers to provide customers with exceptional service
  • Address customer issues; ensure effective and long-term problem resolution
  • Serve existing and new accounts by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, conducting tests, and resolving problems
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods & techniques, and recommending system improvements
  • Keep personal equipment operating by following instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and performing repairs
  • Document service actions by completing forms, logs, and records
  • Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and individual training with our company trainer, and reading professional publications
  • Accomplish operation and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Must be able to maintain professional conduct in all work situations, have a "clean cut" appearance and adapt well to all types of working conditions

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience

  • A customer-focused mindset - you take pride in helping people

  • A team player with a professional, positive attitude

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Must be able to access attics and tight spaces safely
  • EPA Certification required

  • NATE Certification preferred (but not required)

  • Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language
