HVAC Service Technician

HVAC Service Technician | $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on union card

Schedule: Monday Through Friday | 7:00am to 4:00pm | Overtime available

Job Overview:

• Dispatched to calls by our expertly trained in-house dispatcher
• Service / maintenance / repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Consulting customers on repair or replacement options as needed
• Educating customers on new technology and IAQ accessories
• Testing and balancing systems

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 2 years of residential HVAC Service experience or combination of education and experience
• EPA Type 1 & 2 or EPA Universal Certification
• Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Advanced customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customers as well as company
• Well organized and ability to work independently
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School - Desired
• High school diploma or its equivalent

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
