Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service
Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a
variety of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
Diagnostics
and Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system
malfunctions, including identifying faulty components and determining
repair or replacement needs.
Repairs
and Maintenance: Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks
on HVAC systems, such as replacing faulty parts, cleaning coils, and
calibrating equipment.
Installation: Install new HVAC systems, including components like furnaces, air
conditioners, heat pumps, and duct work.
Customer
Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous
manner, explaining technical issues in easy-to-understand terms, and
providing excellent customer service.
Safety
Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including
proper handling of refrigerants and electrical equipment.
Record
Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed,
including service reports and inventory logs.
Continuing
Education: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and
regulations through ongoing training and certifications.
Hourly Rate:
$22 - $45/hour
We also offer commission pay up to $65/hour
Requirements
Qualifications:
Technical
Skills: Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including
troubleshooting, repair, and installation techniques.
EPA
Certification: Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
Licensing: Valid state-specific HVAC license, if required.
Communication
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact
effectively with customers and colleagues.
Problem-Solving
Skills: Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
Physical
Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and
stand for extended periods.
Valid
Driver's License: A clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
