HVAC Service Technicians

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join a growing team in Farmingdale, NY. These technicians will service residential and commercial customers, performing HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, the ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Multiple positions are available, and the company is looking to hire as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

• Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and component replacements.

• Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance needs.

• Complete service reports, work orders, and required documentation.

• Maintain service tools, equipment, and parts inventory.

• Follow all applicable safety procedures, building codes, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician.

• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.

• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and preventative maintenance.

• EPA certification required for refrigerant handling.

• Applicable HVAC licenses or certifications as required.

• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.

• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
