    HVAC Tech, Full-Time, DAYS

    Job Summary and Qualifications

    What you will do in this role:

    • You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various Hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.

    • You will maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.

    • You will consistently utilizes approved PPE for safety as required.

    • You will label equipment out of service and informs staff of back up equipment in a timely manner.

    • You will properly operate and respond to use oft two- way radio communications in a timely manner.

    • You will assist other department staff and accepts additional responsibilities as given by department Manager.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.

    • Ability to interpret blue prints/drawings.

    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

    • Good written/oral communication skills.

    • Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.

    • Good Computer system skills required.

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • A valid Tennessee driver’s license required.

    • Three years minimum Healthcare or equivalent experience required.
