Total Air Service is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to join our family-owned and operated team in Willis, TX.HVAC TECHNICIAN: THE BASICSPay: This full-time opportunity offers $35 - $39/hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for technicians with 5 years or more experience.Schedule: This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Technicians may dispatch directly from home to their job site or report to a central location before traveling to their assigned service area. You will service rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, heat pumps, make-up air units, exhaust fans, commercial controls, and Building Automation Systems (BAS). You'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigerant, airflow, and control system issues, diagnose three-phase electrical systems, and document equipment conditions and repair recommendations.You will regularly work with property managers and facility personnel to communicate findings, discuss repair options, and support commercial start-ups, commissioning, and warranty work. Although this position has a strong commercial focus, it is not strictly a commercial role. You will also perform residential service, maintenance, and repair calls when needed, participate in residential on-call rotations, and cross-train between commercial and residential operations.
