Hybrid Sr Technical Recruiter Contract

Position Overview
seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team on a 12-month contract basis. This individual will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across a diverse portfolio of technical, engineering, and corporate positions while partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage a high-volume and highly complex requisition load, and possesses the ability to quickly understand a wide range of technical and business functions. This role requires a strategic recruiting mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
This recruiter will support hiring across Information Technology organization and lead recruitment efforts for functions, including automotive engineering, research and development, logistics, regulatory compliance, vehicle testing, safety, and other specialized business areas.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for technical, engineering, research & development, logistics, compliance, and corporate positions.
• Manage a workload of approximately 15-25 active requisitions simultaneously across multiple business units and functional areas.
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and department leaders to understand business needs, define hiring strategies, and establish recruiting timelines.
• Create and manage job postings.
• Review applications, source passive candidates, and build qualified candidate pipelines.
• Conduct candidate outreach, recruiter screenings, and detailed assessments of qualifications and experience.
• Provide comprehensive candidate summaries, interview feedback, and hiring recommendations to hiring managers.
• Coordinate and manage all stages of the interview process, ensuring timely progression of candidates through the hiring lifecycle.
• Facilitate offer development, presentation, negotiations, and candidate acceptance.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to support pre-employment and onboarding activities.
Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders across company.
• Maintain regular communication through weekly status meetings, hiring updates, and recruiting strategy discussions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing market insights, talent intelligence, compensation trends, and hiring recommendations.
• Support executive and department leadership with workforce planning and recruiting initiatives.
Sourcing & Candidate Engagement

• Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche technical positions.

• Deliver exceptional candidate care and communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Recruiting Operations
• Manage staffing agency and recruiting vendor relationships, including candidate review, prescreening, interview coordination, and ongoing partnership management.
• Support urgent and high-volume hiring initiatives as needed.
• Assist with interview coordination and special recruiting projects.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and recruitment metrics.
• Ensure compliance with internal recruiting processes, employment regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
Required Experience
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting technical and/or engineering positions.
• Experience managing high-volume requisition loads of 15+ concurrent openings.
• Proven success recruiting across diverse technical disciplines and business functions.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers in a consultative recruiting capacity.
• Strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other proactive recruiting methods.
• Experience coordinating complex interview processes and managing multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
• Experience recruiting within automotive, engineering, manufacturing, technology, or related industries.
• Experience supporting research & development and engineering organizations.
• Experience recruiting for both technical and corporate functions.
• Previous experience working in a large corporate environment.

Work Environment
• Initial 90-day onsite training and onboarding period at headquarters in New Jersey.
• Following successful completion of onboarding, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
• Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support candidate interviews and business needs.
