POSITION SUMMARY

Love coffee, people, and the idea of seeing new places? As a Hybrid Trainer, you’ll get the best of both worlds. You’ll be part of the crew at your home store, crafting drinks and creating great guest experiences, and you’ll also pack your bags to travel with our training team to franchise locations across the country. At each new store opening, you’ll help train brand-new baristas and set them up to deliver the Ziggi’s experience from day one. Hybrid Trainers are brand ambassadors and culture carriers who bring energy, skill, and a passion for coaching wherever they go. COMPENSATION

Standard Pay:

Hybrid Trainers will be compensated at a rate of $15.16 per hour plus tips when working in their home store as a barista.

Opening Differential:

During active new store opening assignments, Hybrid Trainers will receive a payment of $1,000–$2,000, depending on the length of the assignment, plus a per diem of $35 per day. This payment includes travel to the airport, travel time, and all time worked during the assignment. Upon returning to their home store, the team member’s standard hourly rate plus tips resumes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead training for new staff during store opening assignments, typically 12 days in duration.
• Ensure Ziggi’s Standards of Service are consistently upheld, including guest experience, product quality, accuracy, consistency, and speed of service.
• Teach and coach team members on all Ziggi’s Coffee policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Provide real-time feedback and make on-the-spot corrections when processes, recipes, or procedures are not followed correctly.
• Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of all Ziggi’s products, tools, and systems.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, and weekends; hours may vary based on home store needs and opening assignments.
• Travel in-state and out-of-state as needed to support new store openings.

• Flexible availability including mornings, middays, evenings, and weekends.
• Comfortable with periodic travel.
• Prior cash-handling and customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a full shift.
• Ability to uphold all Ziggi’s Coffee policies, brand values, and recipe standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role operates in a fast-paced café environment. Team members will be on their feet for the duration of their shift and may work in varying temperatures near espresso equipment. Travel assignments may involve early mornings, late evenings, and weekend work.
