Hyundai Genesis Service Technician with Experience

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician with a strong background in working on Hyundai Genesis vehicles to join our team at Classic Hyundai of Hampton. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, located in Hampton, Virginia. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai Genesis vehicles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Hyundai Genesis vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs and provide estimates for cost and repair timeline
- Document all repairs and maintain accurate records
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Keep up-to-date on the latest Hyundai Genesis technology and updates
- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced technicians

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-3 years of experience working on Hyundai Genesis vehicles
- Current ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with diagnostic equipment and technology
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
