I.T. Mobility Engineer

Job Title: OutSystems Mobility Developer (Web & Mobile)

Location: Seattle, WA hybrid

Pay Rate: $55-65/hr

Employment Type: 6 monthcontract to hire

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an OutSystems Developer for an enterprise field operations and logistics environment, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in OutSystems web and mobile development and rugged handheld solutions looking to further their career in low-code enterprise application development.

•      Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise web, native/hybrid mobile, and PWA applications on the OutSystems platform

•      Build applications for Android, iOS, tablets, and rugged handhelds, including Zebra MC93 barcode scanners

•      Design offline-capable mobile solutions with data synchronization for field users

•      Integrate applications with ERP, logistics, database, REST/SOAP API, and cloud systems

•      Implement barcode scanning, camera, GPS, and Cordova plugin capabilities

•      Troubleshoot MABS builds, plugins, Android/iOS issues, and production incidents

•      Participate in architecture reviews, security assessments, CI/CD, and release management

•      Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and establish development standards

Essential Qualifications

•      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience

•      5+ years of software development experience

•      3+ years of hands-on OutSystems development supporting enterprise applications

•      Experience building both web and mobile applications in OutSystems

•      Experience with rugged handheld devices, barcode scanners, and mobile workforce solutions

•      Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and REST/SOAP API integrations

•      Working knowledge of Android and iOS application development concepts

•      Experience designing secure, scalable applications; strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Bonus Qualifications

•      OutSystems Professional or Expert certification; Zebra/Symbol handheld experience

•      Offline sync or limited-connectivity experience; Android Studio, Java, Xcode, Swift, Cordova, MABS

•      CI/CD and DevOps, MDM/Intune, and SSO/SAML authentication
