Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IAM Governance & Access Review Analyst III to support and enhance our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance program. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive User Access Review (UAR) process for applications that are not yet integrated with SailPoint. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IAM governance, access reviews, compliance controls, audit support, process documentation, and stakeholder management.

Working closely with application owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams, this individual will establish procedures, training materials, monitoring mechanisms, and reporting processes to ensure access review controls are executed effectively and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

User Access Review (UAR) Program Management

• Design and implement a scalable access review program for applications not integrated with SailPoint.
• Evaluate available tools and determine the most effective method to conduct access reviews.
• Develop and maintain review procedures, templates, training guides, tracking mechanisms, and control documentation.
• Coordinate with application owners, delegates, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate review completion.
• Establish validation and quality assurance processes to verify review effectiveness and remediation activities.

IAM Governance & Compliance

• Ensure IAM controls align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST.
• Support internal and external audits by providing evidence, documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Identify control gaps and recommend remediation plans.
• Monitor governance controls and provide recurring leadership reporting and metrics.

Data Analysis & Validation

• Analyze access review data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Validate user entitlements against source systems and review records.
• Track remediation activities and ensure closure of identified issues.
• Produce dashboards, metrics, and compliance reports.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
• Support implementation of IAM governance improvements and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous enhancement of IAM policies, standards, and procedures.

IAM Operations Support

• Assist users with IAM-related access and authentication issues.
• Support identity lifecycle management and access provisioning processes.
• Participate in incident reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Expand knowledge of SailPoint governance capabilities and related IAM technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), IT Audit, Compliance, or Information Security.
• Hands-on experience managing User Access Reviews (UAR), certifications, or access governance programs.
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOX, NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or HITRUST.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience developing process documentation, training materials, and compliance evidence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ, including certifications, workflows, tasks, and governance functions.
• Professional certifications such as:
  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
  • SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer
  • CISSP
  • CISA
  • CRISC
• Experience with access governance, entitlement reviews, and IAM controls in regulated environments.
