    Description

    Job Overview

    Experienced Product Lead with deep technical and functional expertise in IBM Maximo, with mandatory hands-on experience migrating from on-premise to SaaS. This role requires strong product ownership, technical depth, and the ability to lead a cross-functional team through a large-scale modernization effort.

    The Product Lead will oversee the Maximo SaaS roadmap, lead a team of 5-6, and drive the successful delivery of the migration program. This is a business-technology hybrid role focused on product strategy, execution, operational readiness, and long-term platform stability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy for Maximo SaaS.

    • Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, and release plans.

    • Serve as the primary decisionmaker for product scope, prioritization, and tradeoffs .

    • Lead the full lifecycle of the Maximo on-prem to SaaS migration (planning, data readiness, integrations, cutover).

    • Validate SaaS architecture, security, performance, and configuration decisions.

    • E nsure all functional modules (Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, PM, Contracts, etc.) are fully operational in the SaaS environment.

    • Oversee data conversion activities including assets, meters, PMs, locations, customer agreements, and historical data.

    • Provide hands-on guidance on Maximo configuration, workflows, integrations, and extensions.

    • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues.

    • Validate SaaS releases, patches, and configuration changes prior to deployment.

    • Lead and mentor a team of six (functional analysts, technical resources, support staff).

    • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.

    • Foster a collaborative, delivery-focused team culture.

    • Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and communication across business and IT stakeholders.

    • Provide executive-level updates, steering committee reporting, and program visibility.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

    • Mandatory hands-on experience migrating IBM Maximo from on-premise to SaaS.

    • 7 –10+ years of experience with IBM Maximo, including deep functional and technical knowledge.

    • Proven experience leading large-scale Maximo implementations or modernization programs.

    • Strong technical understanding of Maximo modules, integrations, data structures, and configuration.

    • Demonstrated program management experience managing complex, multi-team initiatives.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Experience with Maximo Application Suite and On prem Maximo applications

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivery and operational excellence.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Background in asset-intensive industries (utilities, transportation, facilities, government contracting).

    • Familiarity with cloud architecture, SaaS operations, and integration frameworks.

    • Experience with Agile product management practices.

    • Prior experience developing training materials and leading user enablement sessions .
