Ice Cream Server/Cashier

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
• Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with precision and integrity
• Prepare ice cream signatures, shakes, floats, and other menu items following safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and dining space
• Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation, and bussing tables as needed

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order totaling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a food industry setting
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
