ID Badge Unit Officer

Introduction

The Identification Badge Unit is critical to a successful access control management system. This position ensures the delivery of the highest standard of access control to the site. The primary function is to verify identities, issue and remove access via approved protocols for ID badges and parking passes to ensure integrity of the ID badge system, and to ensure they remain effective and compliant with security and safety standards. Training and awareness are key to maintaining a secure and efficient identification badge unit.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in access control or security management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficiency in using security systems and badge printing equipment
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

• Familiarity with Enterprise Security Systems
• Experience in training personnel on security protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify potential security risks

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage the issuance, renewal, and deactivation of identification badges for all personnel
• Maintain accurate records of all issued badges, including names, departments, and badge numbers
• Ensure the security and integrity of the identification badge system
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on badge printers and related equipment
• Provide training for new employees on the badge issuance process and security protocols
