Description
We are seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer for a direct-hire, on-site position in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will support the development, integration, and automation of enterprise IAM solutions for a premier global technology integrator. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and integrate robust identity management solutions.
Create and maintain automation, deployment, and provisioning tools to support enterprise IAM services.
Build scripting and automation solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Integrate and support enterprise-grade IAM platforms and authentication services.
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on complex identity and security projects.
Participate in technical software design discussions and engineering initiatives.
Support CI/CD processes and modern DevOps practices within the infrastructure.
Produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3 years of enterprise-level experience with IAM solutions, specifically regarding identity provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
Intermediate proficiency in Java and Python.
Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise identity platform (e.g., PingIDM/ForgeRock IDM, Okta, Auth0, SailPoint, or Microsoft Entra ID).
Experience with automation, scripting, and enterprise Linux (Red Hat) environments.
Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
Must be a local resident of New York or willing to commute to New York, NY 10036.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience developing custom connectors in PingIDM or using Groovy programming.
Familiarity with CyberArk REST API.
Cloud IAM experience with Microsoft Entra ID or AWS.
Experience with Ansible, Shell scripting, or similar automation tools.
Relevant certifications, such as Okta Certified Professional/Administrator, SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure, or Security/IAM-related credentials.
