They provide a full range of behavioral supports, following established protocols and the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The Behavior Technician is responsible for the direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior modification plans developed by the district's Behavior Specialist. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Degree + CertificationHigh school diploma, or higher, 4 years of experience working with children with disabilities in an ABA program, and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.Bachelor's degree, or higher, in the job-related area (Psychology, Education or related field) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.Bachelor's degree, or higher, in the job-related area (Psychology, Education or related field) and 2 years of experience working with children with disabilities in an ABA program. 2. Ability to work directly with students under the direction of the district's Behavior Specialist.3. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in addressing behaviors that impede student learning.4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.5.
