Contract Pharmacist – Per Diem Immunization & Staff Pharmacist
Washington State | Western & Eastern Washington Contract Dates: September 6, 2026 – November 14, 2026
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a reliable and experienced Pharmacist for a temporary contract assignment supporting pharmacy operations across Washington State. This position will include a combination of regular pharmacist responsibilities and per diem immunization coverage, with the pharmacist rotating between assignments based on operational needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a flexible contract assignment with the potential to work in multiple locations throughout Washington.
Assignment Details
Contract: September 6, 2026 – November 14, 2026
Role: Pharmacist / Immunization Pharmacist
Schedule: Flexible, based on pharmacy needs
Travel: Travel between Western and Eastern Washington may be required
Travel Accommodations: Pre-approved travel expenses and accommodations are provided
Responsibilities
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will:
Provide patient-focused retail pharmacy services
Review, verify, process, and dispense prescriptions
Oversee pharmacy operations and maintain safety and compliance standards
Support inventory management and daily pharmacy operations
Deliver high-quality patient care services
Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
As part of the immunization coverage, you may also:
Administer vaccinations in accordance with Washington State laws and regulations
Provide patient education related to immunizations
Support pharmacy teams during periods of increased immunization demand
Position Requirements
Active Washington State Pharmacist license in good standing
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
Current Pharmacist Immunization Certificate in Washington State
Current BLS Certification
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to travel between Western and Eastern Washington as needed
