In-Home Caregiver (Monday, Wednesday,Friday)

Caregiver Position – Triangle, VAHours: 12 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist a client recovering from a foot procedure in their home. The client will require support with daily activities, mobility assistance to the shower, meal preparation, and changing bandages. The ideal candidate will provide attentive care while promoting the client's comfort and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility support to help the client safely reach the shower
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Change and monitor bandages per care instructions
• Transport client to dialysis appointments and other healthcare-related visits (if applicable)
• Support with light housekeeping (e.g., laundry, tidying up)
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as instructed
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities to support overall well-being
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to follow medical care instructions, including wound care and mobility assistance
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a driving record check (if transporting the client)
• Ability to pass a background check
