Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), and Companions to join our care team. We offer
PRN, part-time, full-time, and weekend opportunities for caregivers who are committed to providing respectful, reliable, client-centered care.Our caregivers make a meaningful difference by helping clients remain safe, comfortable, engaged, and as independent as possible in their homes and communities.
Available Opportunities
- Full-Time: Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Part-Time: Approximately 22–25 hours per week
- PRN/Weekend: Based on client and staffing needs
- Opportunities may be available for caregivers who can accept multiple shifts

Position Requirements
Candidates should:
- Be available to accept multiple shifts based on client and staffing needs
- Be willing to work weekends when required
- Have availability that supports current client schedules
- Be willing to work in assigned service areas, including Williamsburg and surrounding areas
- Be willing and able to provide client transportation for weekend activities and other approved client-related needs, when applicable
- Provide dependable, respectful, and compassionate care
- Be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and members of the care team
Responsibilities
Depending on the position and client assignment, caregivers may be responsible for:
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assisting with mobility, walking, transfers, and approved exercises
- Providing personal care and supportive services
- Providing companionship, supervision, and social engagement
- Assisting with meals and monitoring food intake
- Providing light housekeeping and laundry related to the client
- Providing transportation for approved client-related activities, when assigned
- Monitoring vital signs as required by the care plan and position
- Providing medication reminders when permitted and applicable
- Supporting client safety and overall well-being
- Communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborating with family members and other healthcare professionals as directed
- Providing compassionate care that supports the client's quality of life
Compensation
- Base Pay: $16–$19 per hour, depending on the specific case assignment
- Additional pay incentives may be available for qualifying assignments
- Caregivers who are able to support multiple shifts and current client needs may have additional earning opportunities
- Mileage reimbursement may be available when using a personal vehicle for qualifying travel of 45+ miles from the office to the shift location
- Company vehicle available as needed, based on availability and assignment
- Additional unannounced bonuses and incentives may be offered
$350-$500 Sign-On Bonus for weekend availability
A
$350-$500 sign-on bonus is available to qualifying caregivers who:
- Have at least two years of Alzheimer's and dementia care experience
- Meet all other bonus eligibility requirements
- Maintain the required availability during the first 30 days of employment
- Remain available to accept multiple shifts, including weekends when needed
- Maintain good standing during the eligibility period
- Work a minimum for two weekends a month
- Transportation of clients required via personal vehicle or company vehicle
- Receive no disciplinary notices during the first 30 days
The bonus is paid after
30 days of active service. Receiving a disciplinary notice during the eligibility period will make the caregiver ineligible for the bonus.
**Note: 1. Shifts may be mandatory depending on agency needs.
2. $350 for employees requesting M-F typically evening shifts (5p-9p) with periodic day shifts
3. $500 for employees requesting weekend shifts
$500 Client Referral Bonus
Caregivers may also be eligible for a
$500 client referral bonus when a referred client begins services and remains active with Caring Touch for at least
30 days, subject to applicable bonus requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred/required as applicable to the position
- Valid CNA/PCA credentials or other required certifications for the position
- Current CPR certification
- Current Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) certification
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely assist with physical tasks and lifting as required by the assignment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when required for the assignment
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- Compassionate, respectful, dependable, and ethical approach to client care
Additional Hiring Requirements
All candidates must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, including:
- Background check
- Drug screening
- TB screening
- Verification of required credentials and certifications
- Any additional documentation required for the position or client assignment
